Summer Associate Program

Overview

Weiner Brodsky Kider invites law students to explore the challenging and rewarding opportunities available through our Washington, DC Summer Associate Program. We look for well-rounded, motivated second year students with outstanding academic credentials, demonstrated leadership abilities, excellent writing skills and a commitment to exceptional client service. We consider participation in law review, moot court, mock trial and other student activities, and we also welcome those who have achieved success in other disciplines or professions.

Weiner Brodsky Kider’s Summer Associate Program provides a rewarding experience that reflects the challenges and opportunities associated with working for one of the nation’s top law firms for the financial services industry. We offer substantive work assignments, training and mentoring. You will receive complex, thought-provoking, varied work assignments suitable for first year associates. You will work with senior attorneys and partners, alone or as part of a team with other associates and staff members. You will be expected to work hard, tackle challenges, contribute ideas, take responsibility for your assignments, manage your time and prioritize effectively.

Our goal is to provide opportunities for you to work on an assortment of projects that demonstrate your writing, research and analytical skills. We also hope to give you a realistic view of what it is like to work as an attorney at Weiner Brodsky Kider.

We realize that getting to know our attorneys is one of the most important components of the Summer Associate Program experience. Events designed to foster informal interactions are offered throughout the summer, such as social gatherings, concerts and sports. These events also allow summer associates to explore Washington, DC.
