BCFP Appoints New Advisory Committee Members
The BCFP recently announced the appointment of new committee members to the Consumer Advisory Board, Community Bank Advisory Council, and the Credit Union Advisory Council, each of whom will serve a one-year term. The committees provide advice to the BCFP’s leadership on a wide range of consumer financial issues and emerging market trends.
The new members from outside the federal government include experts in consumer protection, financial services, FinTech, community development, fair lending, civil rights, and consumer financial products and services, as well as representatives of community banks and credit unions.
Acting Director Mick Mulvaney said that the new members will bring a fresh perspective to the BCFP’s important work and represent highly talented individuals in consumer finance markets.
