CA DFPI Adopts Debt Collector Licensing Annual Fee, Annual Reporting Regs

The California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) recently adopted regulations under the Debt Collection Licensing Act (DCLA) clarifying and further detailing the annual fee calculation and annual reporting requirements for licensees.  These become effective on July 1, 2025.
