CFPB Extends Deadline to Submit Comments on “Junk Fees”

The CFPB recently extended the deadline to submit comments to its Request for Information (RFI) regarding junk fees—described by the Bureau as exploitative, back-end, hidden, or excessive fees.  We covered this RFI here.  In response to receiving over 25,000 comments, the new deadline is April 11, 2022.
