CFPB Information Request on ECOA/Regulation B
The CFPB has issued a request for information (RFI) seeking comments concerning its enforcement and supervision of ECOA and Regulation B.
While the CFPB will accept comments and suggestions regarding ECOA enforcement and supervision generally, it has asked in particular for comments responding to questions on disparate impact, limited English proficiency, special purpose credit programs, affirmative advertising to disadvantaged groups, small business lending, sexual orientation and gender identity discrimination, the scope of federal preemption of state law, public assistance income, and artificial intelligence and machine learning. Detailed questions on those topics are set forth in the RFI.
