CFPB Issues HAF Program Informational Flyers

The CFPB recently published informational flyers about the Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF), which WBK previously covered here, in English, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Tagalog, and Arabic. These flyers are meant to be a helpful resource for mortgage servicers to use to provide additional information about the HAF program to their borrowers. 

Mortgage servicers may voluntarily provide the HAF flyers to borrowers, but these flyers are not required to be given by regulation. Note the flyers have two design options, one is longer and can be used as a separate page from other notices sent to borrowers, and the other is shorter and can be added to an existing mortgage notice. The CFPB states that the inclusion and use of either option should be done as permitted by applicable law.
