Colorado Makes Technical Amendments to Mortgage Provisions

Colorado recently signed into law House Bill 19-1172, which, among other things, makes various technical amendments and recodifies provisions in the Mortgage Loan Originator Licensing and Mortgage Company Registration Act.  The state legislature provided that the amendments in the bill generally were made to achieve uniformity, eliminate redundancy, and eliminate provisions that are archaic or obsolete.

House Bill 19-1172 becomes effective on October 1, 2019.
