FDIC Updates Cybersecurity Awareness Resources

The FDIC recently added two new vignettes to Cyber Challenge, the FDIC’s cybersecurity awareness resource for financial institutions, which consists of exercises that are intended to facilitate discussions between financial institution management and staff about operational risk issues and the potential impact of information technology disruptions on common banking functions.

Cyber Challenge now includes: (i) nine scenarios presented through short video vignettes; (ii) associated challenge questions; (iii) reference materials; and (iv) an instructional guide.
