FHA Improves System for Electronic Submission of Flood Insurance Data

FHA recently announced enhancements to the FHA Connection (FHAC) that adds fields for mortgagees to electronically submit additional flood-related data for single family forward mortgages and HECM mortgages.  This improvement will allow FHA “to perform more data analytics on FHA-insured properties in flood zones.”  Documentation submitted in FHAC must still be included by mortgagees in the FHA Case Binder.
