FTC Reiterates Enforcement of FCRA in Testimony Before Senate
The FTC recently testified before the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee on July 12, 2018, and stated that the enforcement of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) remains a top priority for the agency. In its testimony, the FTC outlined its efforts to educate consumers and businesses about the FCRA through its publications and guidance. The FTC also reiterated its efforts to protect consumer privacy and to promote data security.
