HUD Requests Comments on Revised FHA Annual Lender Certification

HUD is requesting comments on its revised proposal to amend the FHA Mortgage Annual Lender Certification.  HUD initially requested comments on its proposal to revise the FHA Annual Lender Certification in May of this year.  In response to the comments received to that initial proposal, HUD developed a streamlined certification, which, among other things, no longer requires the lender to broadly certify that the Mortgagee is in compliance, and has complied at all times throughout the certification period, with all HUD regulations and requirements necessary to maintain FHA approval.  Comments regarding this proposal may be submitted until September 13, 2019.
