Maryland Updates Mortgage Lender Licensing Regulation

Maryland amended its mortgage lender licensing regulation by eliminating a provision that required a mortgage lender licensed under the Maryland Mortgage Lender Law to post or otherwise maintain a physical, paper copy of its license at each licensed location.  These changes, which were made to ensure consistency between the recently revised Maryland statute and its implementing regulation, became effective on October 4, 2021.
