NMLS Launches Site on Temporary Authority

With Temporary Authority to Operate for MLOs just around the corner, the NMLS has provided additional information and guidance for industry on its website, in the NMLS Resource Center.  The webpage provides a video of how Temporary Authority will work in the NMLS, as well as policies and tips for navigating through the process, and answers to Frequently Asked Questions.  The Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief and Consumer Protection Act, which includes the Temporary Authority to Operate provision, takes effect November 24, 2019.
