President-Elect Trump Nominates Ben Carson as Secretary of HUD

On December 5, 2016, President-Elect Donald Trump identified Ben Carson as his nominee for Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  Mr. Carson, a retired neuro-surgeon, is subject to approval by the U.S. Senate.
