Review and Feedback Period Extended for Defect Taxonomy for Servicing Loans

FHA recently announced an extension to the review and feedback period for the update to the FHA Defect Taxonomy for Servicing Loan Reviews in Handbook 4000.1, Appendix 8.0.  FHA has extended the date for public feedback and review through January 28, 2022.  As WBK previously reported here, the update includes new defect areas for loan-level servicing reviews and provides remedies for servicing violations.  Stakeholders are encouraged to submit their comments via email to sffeedback@hud.gov.
